Wild Carp Trust article is runner up in literary award

An article about the Wild Carp Trust, written by our chairman Fennel Hudson, has come runner up in the annual Peter Lapsley literary award. The annual award, for the best article to feature in The Flyfishers’ Journal, is awarded by the prestigious Flyfishers’ Club of London in memory of their past-editor Peter Lapsley.

The article, entitled ‘Saving our oldest carp’, was highly commended by the award committee and was beaten to the top spot by an article written by famous fly fishing writer Peter Hayes.
