The Wild Carp Trust has secured several acres of land for the construction of stock ponds.
The land was very generously donated by conservation-minded farmers Mr & Mrs Davies who wish to help to protect the UK’s oldest strains of carp.
The Wild Carp Trust will be working with fishery management experts on the design and construction of the pools, and with local authorities to provide all necessary planning.
It is expected that works will begin in 2024.
