Wild carp eggs successfully transported to rearing facility

17 June 2021

The Wild Carp Trust has successfully transported the first buckets of carp eggs to its rearing facility. The eggs are now in the professional hands of expert fishery consultant Ben Cornick of 5 Star Fisheries in Yorkshire. We can barely wait to see how they grow!

We had special permission from the owner of Pant y Llyn to bring our vehicles to the lake, to enable us to move the eggs quickly. The journey ahead would be a 200-mile, four-hour sprint.
