The Wild Carp Trust is proud to unveil its new logo. Designed by Wild Carp Trust trustees Fennel Hudson and Andy Roberts, with professional input from creative agency Hedgerow Creative, the logo features a wild carp with the ‘ideal’ proportions.
Fennel explains, “Many years ago, when famous carp angler Mike Winter learned of my passion for wild carp, he gave me a photo of a brace of wildies caught from a Norman fishpond. The photo was accompanied by the words, ‘This is what you’re looking for!’ Ever since then, the lean ‘4.5:1’ length-to-depth ratio for a wild carp has been my ideal, so it seemed appropriate to acknowledge Mike’s input to the Wild Carp Trust by featuring his fish in our logo.”
