Wild carp fry getting bigger

The baby carp in the Wild Carp Trust’s rearing facility are continuing to grow, now being 1-2 inches long.

These are the fish grown from eggs collected from Pant y Llyn in June.

Note the big carp at the back. We named this ‘Big Bertha’ as it grew quickly by eating other eggs and newly hatched fry.
